Excellently annotated ed. by P. Scriverius (1577-1660) of a medieval chronicle of the Northern Low Countries (for a long time ascribed to Jan van Naaldwijk). Engr. front. with arms of 4 provinces and 36 full-page engr. portraits. Gothic type.

Sleghers, 1665. 4to: [14]-532-[12] pp. Contemp. sheep (rubbed, corners bumped), spine with 4 raised bands (rubbed, head & tail def.). Third, corrected and enl. edition (first 1574) of a history of the Low Countries in Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages by the Ghent patrician M. van Vaernewijck (1518-1569). Ill. with engr. title with view of Antwerp, engr. author's portrait by P. de Jode and large engr. arms of van Vaernewijck. Woodcut coat of arms on title. Title in red and black. Gothic type. Ref.
