Contemp. gilt calf, covers with gilt ruled border and oval central ornament, gilt spine with 4 raised bands (sl. rubbed, front joint starting to split). Good copy.

First edition of a historical calendar of religious persons (fathers, martyrs, saints) who lived in the Low Countries, compiled by the prolific historian Miraeus (1573-1640). Engraved title-vignette. Copy without the additional Index quire Eee found in a number of copies.
