Series of 13 (of 14) prints by the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) from J. The other engr. were copied after the woodcuts originally published in Brahe’s "Astronomiae Instauratiae Mechanicae" (1598). The section includes: 1. Effigies Tychonis Brahe [P-Brahe#8:2]. - Text part: "Introductio ad geographiam" (c-d, f1) with 7 in-text ill. - 2. Ven [1515:2]. - 3. Arcis Uraniburgi V [P-Brahe#1:2]. - 4.
