1 f. (26 x 47 cm): vellum, in French (seal missing, bl. left lower margin cut, contemp. ms. annot. on back).

Vander Gracht (1485-1552) received this annuity for his appointment as high bailiff of Ghent, responsible for the enforcement of justice and the monitoring of the administration of justice of the city. He also used to sign his deeds a French translation of his name "François des Fossés". The first line is expertly calligraphed.
