Based on Mitchell's famous map of America, d'Anville added French details to this large wall map showing North America from James Bay to Florida, incl. an accurate representation of the Great Lakes. With a detailed insets of New York or "Novum Amsterodamum", Quebec and an anonymous bay view depicting natives and western ships.
