Oblong folio: title-dedication-77 pl.+ 2 (of 3) pl. (dampstained throughout, foxing, flyleaves torn and creased).
Mod. three-quarter cloth with paper snakeskin boards (worn, joints splitting).
Second edition of this work engraved by Pietro Santi Bartoli (1635-1700) about the Column of Marc Aurelius in Rome "Columna Cochlis M. Aurelio Antonino Augusto" ill. with 79 (of 80) engr. pl., showing the decoration of the column with short descriptions by Bellori. All 77 plates of the column are present, only one additional plate depicting a stylobate is missing.
