Later overl. vellum (archival deed?), spine with 4 raised bands titled in ink (some sm. def.). Heavily browned copy, due to the bad paper quality.
Cologne edition (first Leuven 1599) of this Catholic standard work on many aspects of exorcism, magic and witchcraft, by the Antwerp-born M.A. Del Rio (1551-Leuven 1608), serving as an extensive handbook for judges in trials of witchcraft and sorcery. Engraved title with 11 smaller scenes from Exodus. Text in double col. Woodcut head and tail pieces, decor. initials.
