Antiphonarium.

Latin liturgical manuscript on paper, c. 24 x 18,5 cm, [3]-36-65-44-[2 with blank staves] ff., written in black/brown, red and blue ink on 4-line staves, a few correction slips (e.g. f. 5r).

Contemp. blind-tooled leather, spine on 5 raised bands (rubbed, head def.). In good condition.

Liturgical music manuscript, probably for a female convent in Western Flanders (Annonciades?). A few indications in the vernacular:"Tafel" (heading on f. [1]r), "Le dimanche de Rameaux" (f. 24r of I), "hier begunt de voor venite van den eersten zondag van den advent" (f. 30v of I). On f. 35r (of III) “in festo Annuntion[is] beatae Mariae ad vesper”. On f. 44r-v (of III) later addition.
Prov. "ce livre apartien a Sr. Eugenie van Mutsege avec permission de son abbesse 1777" (ownership entry on front endpaper).
