Rare proof impression of the etched portrait of the artist James McBey (1883-1959). The print is a testament to the friendship between these two British artists who are widely regarded as leading figures of the British Etching Revival. During the 1930s and 1940s Blockhurst (1890-1978) was celebrated as a portraitist of society figures and is known for etched portraits, such as this one. Joined: 1.
