Photos taken during work trips, tourist excursions and parties or visits to other exiles. All from Iran (Teheran, Ispahan, Sistan and Baluchestan provinces) except one of the "black city" (oil) of Bibi-Eybat in Baku. Excursions and activities: photos of mountains between Koutchan and Ashabad, surroundings of Mechhed incl. snowy mountains, Baloutch women and caravan paths, reed boats on lake Nezar (i.e. Hâmûn ?), a water well in the desert, a road under construction between Afzalabad and Nasirabad, gazelle hunting near Ispahan...-- Parties: Belgian fancy fair (18 photos of various fairground amusements incl. 1 with the young H.I.M. Ahmad Shah Qajar who reigned from 1909 to 1925), a visit to the British consulate in Sistan (5 photos incl. Mrs. Pridaux in her lounge).-- Group or individuals: M. Maertens ("directeur général des domaines"), M. Leleux ("directeur provincial des finances de Khorassan", the album owner's director), the Mornard's (visiting Sa'dabad palace in Teheran), the Persian ambassador in Bucarest, group with Sardar Motachme (general governor), etc. One photo of his "habitation" (home) which looks more like a palace!
