Armorial binding, old leather, gilt spine on 5 raised bands with mod. gilt label (rubbed, tail def.). Good copy.

Very rare Antwerp edition of sermons by the Valencian Dominican Vincent Ferrer (1350-1419). Woodcut mark on title. Ref. Pettegree NB 30798 (no copy in Belgium). - Palau 293790. - Not in Adams, BCNI, BT, STC Dutch (BL). Prov. Monastic ownership entry on title. - In 1812 given as a prize book in Testelt. - Libr. stamp (partly deleted). Joined: Steyaert, Martinus - Theologiae practicae aphorismi. Pars prima [...] [5th ed.]. Louvain, M. van Overbeke, 1729. 8vo: 644 (= 652)-[4] pp. (toned and dampstained). Cont. marbled calf, gilt ecclesiastical arms on covers, gilt spine on 5 raised bands, red edges (rubbed). Good copy. Ref. Not in STCV. Prov. Gilt arms of Alexander Slootsmans, abbot of Park Abbey. Louvain prize book awarded on 29 August 1737 in Trinity College to "Lamberto Josepho Debanterlé Lovaniensi". - Terentius - Comoediae. [Amsterdam, R. & G.
