Amsterdam, Clement de Jonghe, ca. 1643-1677

Engraving, 35,2 x 48,8 cm, laid paper, signature and address at bottom left: "P. P. Rubens Pinxit / Clement de Jonghe Excudit", centre: "P. Soutman Excud Cum Privil" and right: "P. Van Sompel Sculpxit", Latin text in lower margin (trimmed on platemark, numbered 11 in pen at bottom centre, few sm. light stains, sm. tear at bottom right).

Mounted on cardboard, under passe-partout.

After the painting in Vienna (Liechtenstein Collection, inv. GE 111). 2nd state with the address of Clement de Jonghe (ca. 1624-1677).

Joined: Mounted on verso of cardboard: Tardieu, Nicolas Henri. Rubens, Peter Paul (after) - The defeat and death of Maxentius. Paris, Nicolas Henri Tardieu, 1st half 18th c. Engraving, wove paper, 35,4 x 53,1 cm, signed at bottom left: "PP Rubens pinx." and right: "N. Tardieu sculp.", address at bottom left, Latin and French title and text in lower margin (some foxing on edges). Later impression. (2 pcs)
