Lot description

Engravings and etchings, various dimensions, laid paper with various watermarks (crowned double C, P with flower, crowned shield with lilies) (few with stains and tears, few mounted on laid paper, some censored with pen and brown ink, few with inscriptions in pen and brown ink). All sheets ca. 27,5 x 33,5 cm.

Disbound in the original (?) damaged brown leather album. The front and back gold stamped with "ADRIANVS / VAN IMMERSEEL" and "ANTVERPIENSIS / ANNO 1[?]09" respectively. Mostly good impressions with wide margins.

Nice collection of Dutch and Flemish engravings and etchings, published in Antwerp in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. Includes prints from the following series: 1. Mallery, Karel van.
