Contemp. blind-stamped pigskin over wood, spine with 2 raised bands (rubbed, head def., clasps and catches gone). Except for the defects mentioned, a good copy.

Very rare well-printed Swiss pocket ed. of Erasmus’ own Latin version of the New Testament (1st publ. 1517), translated directly from the Greek text edited in 1516. Woodcut mark on title.
