1. Melgar, Adrienne de, widow of François de Villegas - Aut. s. request in Spanish. Bruges, 26 Nov. 1638. [1] p. - 2-6. Five aut. or lithogr. wedding and death announcement letters, with aut. s., all addressed to "Monsieur de Villegas, échevin à Bruges [= Jean-Baptiste de V. (1721-1805)]". Jean-Marie de Villegas, lawyer in Oudenaarde, is appointed successively to various positions in the magistrature in Oudenaarde and Ghent. - 13. Joined: Baugniet, Charles - "De Villegas, membre de la Chambre des représentants, élu par le district d'Audenaerde". [Brussels], 1840. Lithogr., 34,4 x 24,5 cm (sl. foxing, sm. marg. tears). Portrait of the liberal deputy Jean-Marie de Villegas (1803-1876), elected member of the House of Representatives for the district of Aalst in 1839, he gave up his mandate in 1848, when the law on incompatibilities was promulgated.
