Lot description
Etching, 41,5 x 70 cm, thick laid paper, signed in the plate at lower left "Cavalier Piranesi F.".
Under passe-partout and wooden sculpted frame (not studied outside frame).
Excellent and very dark, even impression of the 1st state (of 5), before added lines of foliage and numbers.
