Etching and drypoint, 13,8 x 21,4 cm, laid paper with wide margins, signed and dated in the plate at lower left corner.
Good dark impression. Under passe-partout.
Sir Francis Seymour Haden (1818-1911), brother-in-law to Whistler, was one of the leading British etchers of his time He was also one of the founders of the Society of Painter-Etchers, now the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, and was its first president.
