Haarlem, Jan De Rem, ca. 1590-1600
Engraving, 25,3 x 22 cm, laid paper with watermark (foolscap, Heawood: 2001) (lower text margin missing, trimmed to borderline, sl. horiz. fold with sm. tear at right edge).
One of the few engravings made after Pauwels Franck (1540-1596), an Antwerp painter who moved to Venice in 1584-1596, where he collaborated with the Sadeler family. Good black impression of the 3rd state (of 3).
