Lower part of an astrological-astronomical almanac for the year 1490 by Schynnagel (1464-ca. 1520), a Bohemian-Polish mathematician, astronomer and astrologer. He studied probably from 1466 at the University of Krakow where, according to his own information, he graduated as Magister artium. He wrote a series of almanacs on the years 1487, 1488, 1490, 1491, and 1493, in both Latin and German. Printed in red and black Gothic type, in two columns separated by 1 astronomical diagram and 2 woodcut discs of eclipses. BMC assigned it with some doubt to Michael Greyff (Reutlingen) on the basis of the British Library fragments. Only 1 complete copy (Heidelberg) and 5 in fragments (Heidelberg: 2 fragments of a proofsheet; British Library: 2 fragments of the right-hand section; and ours).
