Folio: 1 f., printed in 2 col., ca. 59 ll. (a few wormholes in inner bl. margin, some contemp. ms. annot. in brown ink).

Good condition.

Single leaf from the second edition (1st: Venice, 1475-1477) of the commentary on the Decretals by the Italian Benedictine canonist Nicolò de' Tudeschi (Panormitanus) (1386-1445). Decorated with three-line blue and red initials, capitals touched in red and paragraph marks in the same colour.

Joined: 1-4. Four nice initials from a similar Latin liturgical book, printed in red and black. [Southern Germany, end of the 15th c.]. Various sizes. Six-line initials burnished and tooled gold with leaf tracery (D, R, S, P).-- 5. Three woodcuts from a 16th-c. edition of Ludolphus de Saxonia's "Tboeck vanden leven Jhesu Christi". On cardboard. Re-use of the woodcuts designed for the 1487 edition by G. Leeu in Antwerp. After the death of Leeu in 1492, the blocks moved to the North where Pieter van Os in Zwolle used them for another Life of Christ.-- 6. Eight leaves from a Sermones quadragesimale. [End of the 15th c.]. Printed in 2 col. (trimmed, sl. spotted).-- 7. Single leaf from a theology book. [End of the 15th c.]. Folio. Printed in 2 col. One capital touched in red and paragraph marks in the same colour. (17 pcs)
