Lot description
Iron cylinder (diam.: 6 cm; h.: 1 cm; w.: 0,2 kg) with the arms of François Antoine de Méan de Beaurieux (1756-1831). He was the last Prince-Bishop of Liège (1792-1794) and was appointed Archbishop of Mechelen in 1817. He became the first Archbishop of Belgium in 1830. De Méan has been a major Liège family since the 17th century.
