3 ground plans for sewers and docks at the Scheldt riverside in Antwerp.

Pen and ink, with pink wash, laid drawing paper. Various sizes and conditions. Mostly large format. Some signed.

The lot contains a large plan (64,5 x 99 cm) of "de werf" at the Antwerp river Scheldt with a remodelling of the St. Walburgis church (Burgkerk) into a square ("Place du Bourg"). Complete with a list of houses to be demolished, signature and scaling line. Dated 8th of April 1817. Also a smaller plan (38,5 x 51,4 cm) featuring the sewers and canals of Antwerp with a legend and scaling line. Lastly, a design for a new military arsenal with docks on the location of St Michael's Abbey, next to the Spanish Citadel.
