Contains 130 (of 132) engr. hand-coloured pl. showing the religious costumes from all the major orders that were present in the Southern Netherlands. Most of them were dissolved at the end of the 18th c. Each pl. with a "note historique indicative de l'époque de leur institution, de celle de leur suppression et du nom de leurs fondateurs" (cfr title).
