Ôban, yoko-e (vertical), 29,7 x 38,3 cm, inscription: Ukiyo kanadehon Chushingura Shichidamme. Kitao Masayoshi-ga; censor's seal: kiwame, publisher's seal: Tsuruya. Tori Aburachô, Tsuru-ya; handwritten translations of all Japanese inscriptions (light greying, wormholes restored).

Glued to hard paper, under passe-partout. All in all good condition with fine outlines and colours.

Joined: Katsukawa Shunshô (1726-1792) - Fight of Benkei and Yoshitsune on the bridge. 38,4 x 25,5 cm. Signed: shunshô-ga, kiwame seal (dark browning, upper left part replaced by paper, stains). (2 pcs)
