19th-c. half chestnut leather, marbled paper on covers, gilt-titled flat spine with 4 raised bands, marbled endpapers (sl. rubbed). Good copy.

Rare Langres ed. of a curious collection of biblical "facts" by the Canon Pierre Clément (1590-1663). A biblical "Quid" giving answers to i.a. the following questions: "Combien de temps demeura Adam au Paradis Terrestre", "Quelle sorte de Serpent tenta Eue", "Quel estoit le baston de Moyse auec lequel il faisoit tant de merueilles en Egypte" etc. Engraved title.
