Etching, 15 x 11,4 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in plate at lower left corner "Rembrandt f 1642" (wide margins, print tone in the shades, paper sl. soiled).

Stuck under passe-partout, under gilt frame. Not studied outside frame.

Good early impression of an iconic print by Rembrandt. 1st state (of 2) with faint cross-hatching in Lazarus' forehead.
