1st ed. of a collection of emblems by the Rhetores of the Antwerp Jesuit College (names on p. 239). Engraved illustrations: title, engr. emblematical portrait of Loyola standing on a world globe with above him a celestial globe, and 32 full-page engr. emblems by Philip de Mallery, each including a representation of a globe (i.a. on p. 200 with angels playing a kind of billiard).
