Magnificent iconography of 17th c. France, picturing bird's-eye views of sites, cities, castles, abbeys, churches, fortifications. Meur's preface, dated June 26, 1662, and announcing five vols, is included in the 1st instead of the usual 4th vol.; the 5th vol. is missing. Ref. Tiele 240.
