Mod. blind-stamped leather with Renaissance-like pattern, flat spine with title in gilt, red sprinkled edges, gilt roll-stamps on the borders, gilt inside dentelles (rubbed). Nice wide-margined copy.

First edition (?), an edition of Leonardus' sermons was also published the same year in Cologne by U. Zell, but the question of precedence has not been solved. The Dominican Leonardus (1400?-1469) was one the great preachers of his time. Text in gothic type, in 2 cols. Rubricated in red and blue ink. Ref.
