Bound in embroidered creamy silk over boards, decorative endpapers (loose, spine worn, stained, silk loosening at bottom of upper cover). In good condition.

Confirmation of nobility and arms granted to the brothers Johannes, Aloysius and Michael Spadaro, Messina patricians. On f. 1v a coloured drawing with arms and view of Messina; on f. 4r the coloured coat of arms of the Spadaro brothers. Prov. [Georges Petit].
