Contemp. polished calf, gilt fillet frame and large central gilt ovale tool on boards, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, a.e.g. (upper flyleaf missing, sl. cracking on spine, endcaps skillfully restored). Nice copy.

Rare ed. of Justinus' Epitome of the Philippic History by Trogus Pompeius, followed by a history of the emperors of Rome, also abridged, by Sextus Aurelius Victor, Simon Grynaeus and Jean-Baptiste Egnatius. Title orn. with a woodcut allegoric frame.
