Brown, blue and grey ink, red and black chalk, c. 18,1 x 18,1 cm (image), c. 31,7 x 20,7 cm (sheet), laid paper with watermarks (crowned double-headed eagle, MV), unsigned, fol. n. in pen (some spots, 1 sl. creased).
Large sheets, good condition.
Interesting and entertaining ensemble of grotesque ornament designs. These kind of drawings were used as models by artists and craftsmen.
