Compilation of photographic material created by or showing the Belgian photographer R. Kayaert, his wife Denise Smeelen and his entourage or his working area. Kayaert (1920-2007) was a portrait and press photographer, photographer at the Brussels Royal Theatre of The Munt and official photographer of the Queen Elisabeth Competition. This set of photos contains: 1. Portraits of his wife Denise Smeelen (38 of which 3 probably with her mother). - 2. Set of 27 photos with very various topics, probably not all by Kayaert himself, also by "H. Philippi photo" and "Harry-Photo" showing mostly society events such as concerts and dance events. - 3. 5 handmade New Year's wishes with original photos pasted on black cardboard and white ms. text by Kayaert for the years 1981, 1983 and 1985. - 4. 13 coloured photos of Denise and Robert in their home. - 5. Ca. 30 b/w photos showing a.o. Denise as jury during a sort of fashion show. - 6. 6 b/w photos as projects for New Year's wishes for the years 1974-1978.
