Sm. oblong 4to: [25] ff., drawings and preparatory studies in sepia ink, pencil, some with brown wash, 2 hand-coloured, 1 watercolour, most monogrammed "CDA" and dated, some captioned in Italian (1 leaf loose).

Contemp. half black sheep, black paper on covers, front cover gilt titled "Album", flat spine, "I" written in pencil on front flyleaf (rubbed, head and tail missing).

Studies of hands, men and women, children, soldiers, a family, a mother with a child, historical scenes, one showing the entry of Henry III in Venice in 1574 (hand-coloured, with indications for the realisation of the painting, for the Miramare Caslte (?)), etc., also drawings of the Vleeshuis in Antwerp (hand-coloured) and a palace/church along the sea at night.
