Contemp. marbled calf, gilt orn. spines with raised bands, marbled edges (rubbed, some wormholes, sm. defects to heads of 3 first vol., front joint of vol. I parly split and with labels pasted on spine).

Last edition (1st: 1684 without ill.), revised by the author although published posthumously, and updated by P.-J. Mariette and G.-L. Pérau, of the most popular 18th-c. guide of Paris by the historian and topographer Brice (1653?-1727). Illustrated with 41 fold. plates incl. a plan of the city. By the historian G.
