2 vol., 12mo: front.-[4]-xxvii-[1 bl.]-360-[1], [4]-455 pp.; 4 pl. (some foxing in vol. II, soiling to pp. 1-3 and map facing in vol. I, marg. tear strengthened to p. 331 of vol. I).

Contemp. marbled calf, coat of arms on triple gilt-ruled covers, gilt orn. flat spines, gilt edges (front joint splitting, stains, sm. traces of use). Good copy.

Edited by Jean Capperonnier (1716-1775), philologist and Greek Professor at the "Collège de France". Illustrated with a frontispiece, 4 fold. maps and 2 headpieces. Woodcut marks on titles.
