An interesting ensemble of views of Naples and its surroundings. These gouaches were issued and sold as souvenirs for tourists doing the Grand Tour in Italy. The views include the Villa Reale, the pier of the Bay of Naples, "Napoli da Mare", The eruption of mount Vesuvius (2x), and the grand boulevard.
