Editio princeps by Michael Ruyz Azagra, secretary to Emperor Rudolf II, from a 9th- or 10th-c. manuscript, of an epic poem "In praise of the younger Justin", on the death of the Byzantine emperor Justinian I (482-565), the coronation of his successor Justin II (520-578), and the early events of his reign. Corippus (6th c.) was probably the last important Latin author of Late Antiquity. Woodcut mark on title.
