2 vol., 16mo: [4]-348, [4]-416 ff. (minor toning or soiling, sm. strip cut out of 1st title with loss of a few words ("Tomus primus"?)).
Gold-tooled calf (not uniform, I: 16th-c., II: 19th c. & a.e.g.) (I: loosening, spine gone, edges def.; II: front joint splitting, head & tail def.).
Extensive anthology with hundreds of Latin epigrams, by classical and Renaissance poets, mainly Italian, but also by A. Muretus, Erasmus (I:61r-62v), J. Secundus, J. Scaliger, Th. Beza, G. Buchanan, Th. More (I:218v-235v). Printed by B. Prévost for various Parisian booksellers (Gourbin, Cavellat, Marnef). L. Du Chesne (a Quercu; d. 1588) was a teacher at the Collège Royal in Paris.
