Rare second edition of this epistolary travelogue by the Dutch book and print merchant Evert Maaskamp (1769-1834) visiting Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, Leuven, Liège, Aachen and Cologne. Ill. with an engr. title, a folding engr. map of Belgium with border colouring, 4 full-page engr.: a view of Antwerp (aquatint), the theatre of Lille, the castle of Schonenberg at Laeken (aquatint) and a view of Brussels from the castle, together with plans of Antwerp, Brussels (large and fold.) and Brussels Park and 2 hand-coloured engravings of "Eene Burger Vrouw van Brussel" and "Boerinnen uyt den omtrek van Brussel" by W. van Lenus after C. Coene.
