Folio (ca. 20 x 16 cm): 2 pt., [70-5 bl.] ff., on paper, in Latin (some minor soiling).

Contemp. marbled sheep, gilt spine with 5 raised bands with gilt label, red edges (rubbed, joints starting to split). In good condition.

Leuven philosophy course, written by the Brussels student Joannes Leopoldus de Man, who proudly states that he was "12° proclamato". The course was taught by Lambert-Jean Beauvois. After the course follows an 8-page list of "Nomina cursus Dial[ecti]corum anno 1759" = list of philosophy students of 1759.
