Very rare and for that time the most accurate and detailed atlas of Central Congo, formerly Bas-Congo, drawn by Hubert Droogmans (1858-1938), general secretary of the Finance department of Congo Free State (1895-1908) and later general secretary of the Ministry of Colonies (1908-1911). The maps were executed by A. de Schaepmeester and the photogravures by Wylands.
