Early edition of one of Erasmus' successful educational texts (1st ed. 1514): a collection of metaphors from Greek and Latin authors. The work is dedicated to Pieter Gillis (1496-1533), town clerk of Antwerp. Title within woodcut border. Apparently no copy in Belgian libraries nor in NUC.
