Original photographs, b/w, various sizes, most pasted on thick paper, Kayaert's stamp on versos (one photo by Jean Guyaux), occ. in double, serial numbers written in pencil on versos.

Robert Kayaert (1920-2007) was the official photographer of the Béjart Ballet and also, of the Queen Elisabeth competition. Photos of the ballet "The Ninth Symphony", created in 1966 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels, with Duška Sifnios, Tania Bari, Lise Pinet, Lothar Höfen etc., of the "Rite of Spring" (?), portraits of the principal dancers (Lise Pinet ?, many of Jacqueline Bolle ?, cfr handwritten mention on one photo), ballets with children as "Hansel and Gretel", photos from rehearsals, etc. In 1960 Béjart (1927-2007) created the Ballet of the 20th Century in Brussels; for many years it was the official dance company of the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie. This company was dissolved by Béjart in 1987, he then created the Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
