16mo: 274 (= 272) pp. (short at top just shaving top margin of title, sm. def. at blank bottom margin of title, unobtrusive dampstain in top corner, some minor spotting).

Contemp. vellum, flat spine titled in ink. Good copy.

Only Milan ed. of the "Pia desideria" of the Flemish Jesuit Hugo (1588-1629), 1st publ. 1624. This ed. is dedicated to Angelica Lucretia Maria Scondrate. Engr. title and 46 engraved emblems by Carolus Blancus, numbered 0-45.
