First edition of this illustrated report of the funeral procession of Albert Archduke of Austria (1599-1621) by E. Puteanus (1574-1646). Illustrated with a very nice engr. title by Corn. Galle and 64 numb. double-page plates (1 folding) by Corn. Galle after the drawings of the architect J. Francquart (1577-1651) showing all 675 persons in the funeral procession with name and status, a large folding plate showing the "Chapelle ardente". Enriched with a pl. dated 1634 from the edition of 1729 by Leonard representing Isabella's funeral crest in the church of Saint-Jacques on the Coudenberg. Introduction in Latin, Spanish, French and Dutch.
