8vo: 166 (of 168) ff. (lacking one f. of table -restored by hand- and one blank; occ. ff. sl. soiled, title underlaid restoring sm. tears, inner margin of title strengthened).
19th-c. three-quarter brown shagreen, marbled paper covers, gilt orn. spine on raised bands (very sl. rubbed).
Second edition of this collection containing sayings of Greek and Latin authors, Isocrates' sentences and precepts, epigrams, etc. gathered and translated by the Belgian grammarian and teacher from Mons, Bosquet.
