Considered one of Livemont's finest creations, this poster was commissioned by Robette Petitjean & Cie, one of the most important distilleries of its time. All the elements of the composition evoke absinthe: the green, the wisps of smoke in the background, the leaves and flowers, etc. The woman, like a priestess, raises the liquor as an offering to the gods. This poster was included in the Warsaw exhibition devoted entirely to the Wittamer collection.

Prov. Louis Wittamer-De Camps, owner of one of Belgium's most emblematic collections of Art Nouveau posters. In 1957, he bought the former Hôtel Solvay, built by Victor Horta on Avenue Louise, to set up his workshops for his haute-couture house (stamp and ms. monogram and note "266" on verso).
