Later sheep signed De Samblanx & J. Weckesser, gilt borders on covers, endpapers renewed, gilt inside dentelles, a.e.g. (rebacked, covers rubbed and scratched).

Superb iconography showing 145 hand-coloured plates of birds in Europe (also of a porcupine and a deer) and 1 allegorical engr. front. This French edition translated from the German counts in total 8 parts, 3 front. and 414 plates of which 371 of birds.
