Description du lot
41 silver and carbon (?) prints, diff. sizes, pasted on cardboard, some with photographer's blindstamp "G.P. Abraham / Keswick" (spotting on the mounts).
Kept in an obl. quarter green shagreen album with green cloth boards, red edges.
G.P. Abraham (1846-1923) was a British photographer, postcard publisher, and mountaineer. He was passionate about landscape photography. Photos of the beautiful region of the Lake District and other regions showing mountain trails, mountain tops (Lingmell), valleys, mountaineers climbing a very pointed rock, lakes (Derwent Water, Buttermere, Thirlmere), castles (Windsor), abbeys (Furness), and villages (Chester). Not all photographs with drystamp. Possibly some not originating from Abraham.
